Product Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

SVOLT EU is looking for a dynamic, team player and proactive problem solver to join our technical and compliance teams. You will be dedicated to ensuring that our product and operation follow European, national, and regional environmental laws and regulations during all phases of product development and site operations (construction, start-up, and full production). 
 
In this role, you will liaise with Compliance and Regulatory Entities and internal teams to ensure full regulatory compliance and product standardisation. Likewise, you will drive SVOLT’s subsidy and funding projects, providing administrative, organizational, strategic, and operational support with increased performance and reliability.
Your mission
  • Ensure compliance with European, national, and regional regulations and standards.
  • Collection, analysis, and interpretation of existent business-related regulations and standards as well as track emerging ones to assess risk and evaluate compliance.
  • Interface with European and HQs departments to inform/discuss about existing and upcoming regulations and standards and define solution implementation strategies.
  • Liaise with European, national, and regional regulatory authorities, associations and committees and oversee regulatory inspections on behalf of the company to obtain legislative information in advance and claim for the interests of the company. 
  • Study and evaluate on the different subsidies and funding policies as well as support their submission processes.
  • Carry out audits that allow impact assessments to identify, assess and establish controls for the mitigation of risks associated with existent and products/processes.
  • Support the development of HSE standards and goals to heighten awareness and promote a safe and productive work environment.
  • Audit and asses regularly all existing and upcoming projects, ensuring prompt corrective actions when hazards/non-conformities are identified.
Your profile
  • Master or PhD degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related sciences; alternatively, the equivalent in experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on regulatory projects.
  • Deep understanding, strong technical knowledge, and insight into European, national, and regional policies at both product and manufacturing facility levels.
  • Understanding and interpretation of regulations and laws. Capabilities to search relevant information and upcoming novelties. Experience on communicating about those with external bodies.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability and demonstrated success in the management of product compliance.
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written). Mandarin considered as a plus.
  • Team player; Proactive and motivated. Interest on working an international environment.
