• Develop System level test strategy, Test cases and Test plan to cover system verification and then validating the BMS for functional and certification requirements per standards.
• Lead technical discussion and clarification with the customer, acting as the key contact person for all technical related topics related to BMS system. 
• Work in close collaboration with customer's project teams, consultants, 3rd party vendors, & technical leaders for sub-parts to understand the project milestones & deliverables and to achieve high level of customer satisfaction.

• Conduct testing and commissioning on site to ensure the integrity of the system, trouble shoot, analyze failures (system, mechanics, hardware, software) during tests at customer site, and implement correction/modification until the BMS system is fit for hand over to customer.

• Develop test strategies for BMS state estimation and advance algorithms for aging, pre-warning, and thermal runaway detection etc…

• Develop simulation models to support testing, Simulate battery electrical / electronic circuit simulation for design compliance using MATLAB / Simulink or other tools.

• Select Electronic, electrical and IC parts to meet performance goals, specifying and working with suppliers to develop custom parts.
• Benchmarking activities and prototypes.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering,
• Minimum 6 years of total working experience and minimum 3 years of BMS application in System /Software/ HW development experience.
• Proficient in Simulink/Stateflow, CANApe/CANOE testing calibration analysis tools, EA and other architecture design software. 
• Experience/ Knowledge of CAN & UDS

• Knowledge/experience of CMMI(or ASPICE)/ DOORS/ PTC/ ISO26262/ AUTOSAR) 

• Familiar with the battery systems. BMS development experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and experienced        with of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniques
• Experienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads etc.
• Good understanding of communication buses like SPI, Ethernet, and CAN bus
• Language Proficiency - English as Business Language. German and/or Chinese are considered as an additional advantage.
• Willing to travel 30%
